Hello and welcome to The Light in the Road ! I’m Lucila, the voice you will be reading through the following posts πŸ™‚

In October 2015 I left my home-town in Argentina in order to start a new life in Vienna, Austria with my husband. We decided to move here to do things we had never done before andΒ  in search of new adventures. So off we went! We left our jobs, family and friends in Argentina and started from scratch in Vienna with a little help from our lovely Viennese friends.

Back in Argentina –in my other life, as I like to say!-Β  I was as a pharmacist and nowadays I am a photographer – what a change, right?-. Everyday I find myself facing new challenges like trying to communicate in a new language, getting to know a different culture and meeting new people. Pretty exciting (and inspiring!)

Even though this was a huge decision, I believe it was the right one. IΒ  am already in love with Vienna, which keeps on surprising me day after day. Not only are the architecture and the streets adorable, but also the people!

What are my passions? Definitely photography, travelling and a good chat with my loved ones – currently that would be in Spanish, English or German-, oh and chocolate of course! πŸ˜‰

How would I describe myself? I would say I am friendly, curious and focused. I am always up to something, making the most of my day and learning new things. I try to stay positive and I am sure that the best is always yet to come πŸ™‚

Through the Blog I’m making you as my travel companion in this great adventure. Sometimes we may go to beautiful places, and others into my inner thoughts and the little things that make me happy.

Who knows what may come ! But one thing is for sure, all my posts will come with pictures, lots of them, because that is my passion πŸ™‚ You can fin me on Instagram and on Facebook as well

Thank you for reading and welcome to TheΒ Light in the Road!

  1. Such a nice blog, you seem to be a pretty amazing person! πŸ™‚ I am living in Vienna as well and a blogger, too. I am mostly writing about my travels, though, sometimes about Vienna. I wish you all the best with the German studies and looking forward to staying in touch and checking your blog from time to time πŸ™‚ If you need some German conversations, I can help. Gladly I don’t know any Spanish, so no potential for getting lazy with German haha. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, Natalia
