Summer nights in Vienna call for outdoor dinners, and if it’s in one of its typical Viennese courtyards full of trees and flowers – aka “Biergarten”, then better! We got to the Gasthof Zum Renner by recommendation of a friend and couldn’t have been happier with the tip.
This place is located in the 19th District, surrounded by little wine cellars and some picturesque taverns. As you can judge by the pictures, the atmosphere is charming and inviting. As for the food, here you will find typical Viennese cuisine for very reasonable prices. We could guess from our dinner neighbours that the size of the servings was generous, so we ended up sharing chicken wings (800g) with mix salad. Not only was the food delicious, but also the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our evening at Zum Renner very much, after all a full tummy makes a happy heart ♥
